Action and Indication:
This formula tonifies the Heart; calms the Spirit; soothes the Middle Burner; helps alleviate spasmodic conditions. It is used to help a person who has hysteria caused by the dehydration of the viscera. Related symptoms are: feeling depressed with the urge to cry; absentmindedness; disoriented; hysteria; unable to control oneself; restlessness; insomnia; yawning frequently; restless sleep with occasional night sweats; abnormal behavior and speech; night crying in children; stomach distress; nervousness; emotional instability. Tongue is usually red with a thin coating. Pulse is usually wiry and thin.
